Call me a philistine, but why?

I'm just genuinely curious, as so far I just 'don't get' Facebook and don't have or feel the need for an Account. These forums yes, but for some reason not Facebook or Twitter, or any of the others of the same ilk. They are becoming more prevalent in everything around these days, but......why?

What's the attraction? :scratchhead:
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

I know it exists for our members but I am not too proud to say I don't have any current intention to speak to other members via same......Personally not my cup of tea as FB use can often result in unwanted hassle(s) & drama. Needless to say I won't accept any responsibility for FB content.

I am not on facebook or twitter, i must be old fashioned but i just dont get it.

I will stick to being involved on the motoring forums & keep it simple!

There is plenty of humour & good banter on here so that will do for me.

I treat facebook a little like sitting outside a cafe drinking coffee and people watching......it also releaves the boredom of financial conferences
