Very nice. Interesting dash too. What's the exterior colour? It has a reddish tint in the light, but is black from a distance. Could be Ruby Black I think they called it?

Very nice and welcome aboard. Certainly does look like Ruby Black from those pics. Individual colour and spot on.

Thanks for the comments, as for the colour I just thought it was metallic black. I have had a look through the documentation but can't find anything just says black on log book service book etc. The bmw dealer gave me a printout of all the bits on it when I was buying it but cant find that either. I have been looking at it at different angles and it does kind of change colour in different light.

Look for colour code 'X03' in there. If it is, then it's Ruby Black. That was an Individual Option @ £945 when I bought mine. Lovely colour..

Could not convince tother half though

Love the dash. I'm gonna assume the windscreen has decent sun protection to stop that leather drying out and cracking as part of the package

Must admit I thought that myself about the leather drying out, what would you use to treat it? I do have autoglym leather treatment which i use on the seats in the garage would that suffice or is there something more specific for a dash? The previous owner had a superguard treatment done on exterior and interior as the 3 year guarantee is in the service wallet but that is not far of running out.
Thanks Bolio

BMW do have a range of cleaning materials made by some of the better suppliers. I usually find though I know more than the guys selling the stuff - in common with most folks who frequent owners sites, they all seem to know more than the car's own Dealers.
At some risk (mainly to your bank account), there is one site that may also have the answer if you get nothing here. That would be Detailingworld dot co dot uk.
Warning - once you start on that website you may find that you end up with lots of new toys connected with the cleaning of your car. It does contain some nice kit, and a lot of people who are supposed to know what they're about. Just take some of the advice with caution - like no buying of £4,000 carnauba wax pots. Raj might be able to help as he's supposed to be into detailing, or knows folks who are too.
