Hello and thank you!

Hi all,

I have been lurking here for a while and decided I really should join as I have gleaned so much info from here.

I bought my 54 plate 3.0D Sport in January after looking for a while for the right car. It had one private owner and had been serviced by the same main dealer all its life. Everything worked as it should, including the webasto and the pano roof, a deal was done and became the proud owner of a car that hasn't failed to impress me. Being an ex-Land Rover man (Disco TD5, IIA, III, RR Classic plus others along the line) I love its road manners, quietness and presence.

My thank you is for the buying information I found, the pano roof fix after it graunched yesterday and the Trans Failsafe Prog fix after I flattened the battery sorting the sunroof. So thank you to all those that contribute and make this such a great forum, plus saving me a small fortune.

I do like them in that colour, I like black too but I've had black cars before and they are hard work to keep looking good. It's not the best picture, I will get more on after I've fitted the running boards and arches.......might have to change the wheels then. I just can leave my cars alone :-D . If my wife asks they were always on it, I've just washed it that's all

Welcome aboard and lovely looking example. Great to hear the advice and threads have already help to avoid costly repairs or panic.

Will look even better once the running boards and extensions are fitted. Being the Indian I am, I do have a lovely set of 20's for sale that would look a treat....lol. A deal can always be done...he he
