Well here goes..... The wife came in today saying that when she was reversing out off the driveway ealier she struggled to stop the car with the breaks and the engine ended up stalling almost like the clutch wouldn't work !!!!! sh*T I thought. I've taken the car out since and cannot replicate the issue. Has anyone any ideas ?

Was she wearing flip flops?

Myabe something was pressing the accelerator at the same time? The floor mat could have caused it maybe?

Otherwise I doubt it would be down to the clutch...

she said it was like the car wanted to shoot off backwards and the only way she could stop it was to stand on the breaks,which caused the engine to stall.
