Was just wondering what prices you guys have been paying for the above?

£90 inc VAT by an Indy last time it was done on my E53 last year. I don't think this is a DIY as the ABS system has to be 'cycled' under computer control. If I'm on the wrong track someone will no doubt correct me.

As per XSport's comment car has to be plugged in and the ABS system has to be opened/ closed to allow complete change of fluid. (Old fashioned method of pumping the system will only replace part of the fluid).

Local dealer cost: £74.00 +dreaded.

Nah, you can get it done at an independent and still get the stamp in the book

You can indeed by law for warranty, but don't expect any goodwill wen you have an out of warranty claim not can you trade your car in at the dealer ( at some at least)
