It doesn't do it for me at all tbh...I do like the manual box though! 
I just can't get on with the Aero kit, it just doesn't look all that great to me, and seems very 'stick on'.
I retro fitted the Areo kit to my Mini Cooper some years ago, I loved it and thought it transformed the whole car. But it just seems unnessesary on the X5 and kind of ruins the lines imo.
And i'm not a huge fan of the Red either. Although it looks in superb condition!
