My X5 4.6 detail

A lad I know from the local aircooled forum posted up that he was getting back into the detailing thing and asked if anyone was wanting their car done?
I had thought about getting the things together to do it myself but with the workload being what it is just now, I thought it would be better getting someone else to do it :D
The fella I know has issues with his back, so fair play for taking this on. Took him the best part of 35 hours to do.
And a prise to the first person who can guess how much it cost ;)

Any comments welcome :)

Finished article looks great, what a difference.

I have not got a clue what it cost but it looks money well spent.

£300- 3 long days @ £100 p/day.

Unless he went all silly and charged £5 per hour cash & thus £175 or £150 at mates rates.

I don't know - I havent a clue and in any case thats 3 guesses I have had.

Btw car looks significantly better & some :)

That's some good work and wheels off too

If that cost any less than £350 you've got a bargain!

Cheers folks :)
At first he asked for £200, seeing as he spent 35 hours on it I thought it a bit on the low side and offered £250. Thought it only fair to be honest.
I'm very happy with the end result, so well worth it.

Its Carbon Black but it does have a blue hint to it.

Just feels a bit of a shame to drive it and get it all covered in muck again :(

He lives north of Aberdeen, if you are interested I can pass on his number to ya ;)
