Hi everyone,
Thought I'd introduce myself saying as I've just joined the forum. Trading my E92 M3 in for an X5 30d M Sport on Thursday so I'll be looking through the forum and trying to get as much info as possible, especially as its my first 4x4 as well.
Look forward to hearing from you all.

Welcome.....
M3 to an X5 eh? I think you'll notice just a
slight difference....
But the fuel and servicing bills will be easier....

Thanks guys. I picked the car up yesterday and I love it. Obviously a totally different car to the M3, but that was the point. Mainly doing motorway and city driving so comfort is more important to me now rather than sports performance.

It seems quite a few people jumping from the M3 to the X5, the guy who sold me my M3 had also moved on to a X5!

The M3 was a great car, but it was time for a change, I know a few M3 owners that are looking at an X5.
We went for a nice run to Inverary today and the car was amazing, just so comfy and easy to drive and easily quick enough for what we need, although I am looking into getting it mapped.
