dog guard or net

just purchased a e70 x5 abd im after a dog guard fot it will the e53 one fit as i can get one cheap on e bay any help thanks
Nope the E53 item will not fit. The genuine metal item that BMW sell is superb, very strong but not cheap. Think mine was about £130 but it screws into the car and is much stonger than the net type items. The net items are really luggage nets rather than dog guards.
Travall also do good strong metal guards, have one of theirs in another car.
