Music cutting out after playing for couple minutes.

Post by cammy1903 » Sat Mar 10, 2012 4:17 am

Hi, my music in my 52 plate 4.4i is cutting out after playing for roughly a minute or 2. Sometimes turning the radio off then on brings the music back on whereby it will stay on continuously. 9/10 times this does not happen though. Once the car has been turned off for 10 to 15 minutes the music comes back on but again tends to cut out after a while.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Might be the amp in the spare wheel well, if its a bm24 it would probably need the joints on the motherboard resoldering.
Had the same problem with mine but it gradually got worse till I resoldered the joints now its working perfect everytime.
