Newbie on the block!!!

Hi Gang

my name is Lee ...drummerboy because thats my trade..

i have a 2003 4.6is in estoril with black...fully loaded as they all are..
its got 191k on the clock and i have had it since 19k so its all my own fault!!!!!!
its taken me to every petrol station in the uk and back again without major failing...
i have had the usual...cv boots/ alllternator/water pump/ header tank/ rear susspension allienment etc but nothing else bad....
never been painted and all panels clean...
drivers seat a little saggy but so is the driver...
i totally love this car and have had a million hours of smooth yet powerfull driving...

i also have a Porsche 993 Cab thats also mint with 100k....

thats for weekends and sunny days only..

i enjoy he forum and it has helped me a lot in the past with silly things..

i used stratstone in Derby uptill 120k then found an amazing Indy garage in Burton on trent

Burton Motor Workshop....2 ex Sytner guys....they are brillient and know everything but charge soo reasonably...

check them out if you are local....freee loan car etc.....

Welcome to the forum Lee.

Thats alot of miles to throw on a car and alot of petrol receipts in a 4.6is! Glad to hear that not much has gone wrong with it either... gives me some more confidence in mine!

Thats a good advertisement for the x and nice to hear from time to time as most posts are obviously about problems and how to fix them.

Welcome,

Fine testimony indeed.

Would be interested at some point to see mileages that you had things done....especially the water pump & alternator.

My 96k miles realtively low in comparison.........I've had outer front CV boots,bushes & header tank plus a few usual bits (window regulators etc).
