Hi all,

Firstly, thanks to all those who have given advice over my last year of X5 ownership, but the time has come to move her on as we will be leasing something newer shortly and I need to cash to complete my purchase of a mint 1988 BMW 525e.

I will put up a full 'for sale ad' with pics in the Buy/Sell section soon, but I am looking to sell my 53 plate Facelift 3.0d Sport around the end of April.

It has had the few little jobs required since I took it on all done and wants for nothing. Spec is awesome (too long to list in full here).

115k miles, FSH, 9months MOT & tax, last service was Inspection 2.

Will be looking for £9500 so if you know anyone looking, please send them my way! That's a lot of very well specced X for the cash.

Had a few daft offers through eBay as usual but decided to reduce to £8750 so I fall within more search criteria.

Pretty sure as soon as someone views they will appreciate the condition of the car and make me a decent offer.

Yeah wheels not to all tastes I guess, but I love them and you could sell them for what it would cost to buy some standard 19's and do a straight swap!

SOLD for £8450 if anyone was curious.

Somebody got a bargain but glad I didn't have to play into the hands of the the multiple ebay jokers offering £8k flat!

I took almost a £3600 hit in a year on it but put 20k on it I suppose, and avoided any really big bills. Plus I enjoyed every drive in it.

Best car I have had but 'needs must' as they say........
