Tyre pressure control & self level suspension

Are the tyre pressure control and self level suspension sensors linked in any way?

I have been having problems with the self level suspension error, which was traced to a faulty rear off-side sensor. This was replaced, and the fault cleared from the memory. All was well for a week, but now it has come back. This was shortly preceded by a tyre pressure control error.

Over the last couple of months we have had 3 or 4 tyre pressure control errors come up, but haven't been able to detect any loss in pressure on the tyres. Resetting the TPC removes the error for a while, but it does seem to keep coming back. Is it a coincidence that this has happened at the same time as the suspension errors?

Before taking the car back to the garage, I would like to have a better idea as to the possible causes.

Thanks

Michael.

TPMS on the 3.0D is linked to the ABS system and it works by monitoring the rotation differences between the wheels which different inflation levels causes. I used to get get errors on random occasions on mine but no pressure differences were apparent. I used to reset the system and all was well for weeks, sometimes months. Temperature changes can have an affect, as can tread depth variations between different tyres.

Thanks - so it sounds unlikely that it is connected to the self-level suspension issue.
