PIcked it up last week. Not sure about the wheels being gloss black against the Carbon black. Might be better in a matt or stain black finish?

Nice (well, I would say that as I ordered the same). Not keen on the black wheels though, I prefer "normal" coloured wheels but that is probably my age

I ordered mine debadged as well as I think it looks too busy on the side profile.

I wasn't keen on the 20" Sport wheels that came on the car as they sat in a little too far at the rear, so I more or less did a straight swap for these, which also have brand new tyres. Although, I don't like this particular 21" wheel in silver. Infact I'm not keen on any of the 21" wheels for the X5 & the one's I now have fitted are the best of a bland bunch. Will I get away with these 21's at 41 years of age

Not yet - mine is on the boat at the moment, delivery mid march

Not my favourite as such, but standard ones that come with it. On the option list, there wasn't actually a single type that I really liked. Don't think the older ones are available anymore, like 535dBoy has.

There's currently a brand new set with tyres on a well known auction site. They're also in the BMW brochure I picked up a couple of days ago.

Hmm, there is a thought and keep the standard ones for winter tyres ...

That looks a bit too black for me I'm afraid

PVR if I was keeping mine we could have done a straight swap as I prefer the ones you getting! My new car seems to have been officially announced today

Looks fantastic! I wouldn't change it..was torn between between white and black both with the black wheels, which are a must in my book!

The missis opted for the white.

For me I think it definitely looks mean in carbon black with black wheels. Not too sure how matt black would look it may be worth Photoshop them to get an idea.
