Rimblades/alloygators anyone ??

Hi , I was looking at the above products to help protect alloy wheels, has anyone any experience, opinions or advice ?

Rimblades sound like a device to protect against back door entry. Wouldn't a good tyre do the same job?

The tyres on the new car do not protect against kerbing Unfortunately, these products look good but hoping to get some opinions of actual experience with them

Fair point, can't help you there though. Do you have top view cameras? I've heard there helpful

From a quick google I'd say save your money. The way they attach ain't gonna do anything when your grinding a 2 ton machine along a curb. Even if they stay on I don't think a thin piece of plastic will stand up against a much harder stone curb or metal wheel. I did find something amusing which I will share below;
