For sale is my E53 X5 3.0d SE in Highland Green.

The asking price is £10500

The spec is as follows:

- One owner in excellent condition (always garaged)
- Full BMWSH
- 82300 miles
- MOT due July
- Beige leather interior
- SatNav and Phone BT
- Xenons
- Panoramic Sunroof
- Running boards
- Auto folding / dimming side mirrors

The car is currently on its winter wheels / tyres, but will be sold with the summer tyres. (Winter wheels / tyres also available).

The location is West Sussex.

For anybody interested in this car I don't think you will find a better conditioned car

Now sold to a different dealer for £10k.

Brake fluid service was due last week, and next service due with one indicator left, which I would have had to have done for a private sale anyway so less hassle this way I think.

Chandlers. Was upfront and told them brake fluid due now (or rather, last week the indicator went on) and 1 indicator left on the service interval.

As a last bit of info - the dealer sold it the day I handed it in.

They did have an interesting story though - I may have told some that when I got the car new, it had a paint defect on the bonnet (looked like brake fluid had leaked on it or so, visible under the clear coat in artificial light). That was resprayed (my mistake, should have rejected the car).

Not happy with respray, so they did it again and after 5 years - stone chips at the front started to bubble / rust. I mentioned that on the meet in Bristol as well when I was checking other X5s, none of them having stone chips /rust issues.

Chandlers (where I traded the car in) resprayed the bonnet front for the new owner and told me that Vines had actually replaced my bonnet and it was a RED one. Interesting how they could just do that and replace a bonnet without telling me ...

I'm sure I saw it yesterday.
