Anyone interested in a group buy for Dynavin or Hualingan

HI I am planning on ordering either the Dynavin android based unit or else the Hualingan setup in the near future, I am wondering if anyone else would be interested in a group buy then perhaps a better price for the unit could be sourced depending on numbers (obiviously the price will sway peoples decision but with more interested we should be able to get a better price)
lets gauage numbers for a group buy
please state perference over hualingan or dynavin (android based system)
My perference is dynavin (as stated price dependent) but would sway hualingan if group perferred and price right
We need numbers before contacting suppliers
Thanks

I just did a search for other Android Dynavin group buys, I found one in the states on the e46 forum but the price is only reduced by $20 for participants of the group buy! It hardly seems worth the effort for that... Especially since group buys tend to take a lot longer to actually get the goods (while you wait for everyone to pay up or to get the numbers etc) It seems hardly worthwile waiting a number of months to save $20...or £12
I'm too impatient!
I'd just buy one now!
IMO you should speak to the supplier first and just ask "how much if 5 buy, how much if 10 buy etc"
You'll also get much more interest if you have a set price for a specific unit from the start, as opposed to some people wanting Hualingan/some wanting Dynavin etc.
FYI, heres the TTints (who are the official Dynavin supplier) eBay page for the Andriod Dynavin: £705.70

Sorry for the Hijack, and good luck with the purchase(s)

The Dynavin will come in two guises - D99 which I believe is the Android version and the Windows CE6 version (a little cheaper - £50 to £80).
Link to the D99 platform for the Dynavin. Still expensive though, not sure how good that is value-for-money wise.
The Hualingan will have DAB shortly and other features (currently being tested). Not sure which ones yet...

Dynavin for me. It would have to be the Android version although it would have to be a chunky group buy discount from the RRP!

No Android on Hualingan btw...
Most know the value these units retail at - what value would most want to see (realistically without taking the pi$$)?

[quote=""nujon""]Oh dear !

I wouldn't worry too much, I saw that thread before I bought mine, but it seems that most (if not all) of those comments are regarding are the old gen 1 or 2 units and probably bought through eBay (and sellers are known to still be supplying the old gen units even now, most auctions don't actually state which 'gen' it is you're buying).
The Gen 1 & 2 units were largely 'prototype' but the new ones are much improved in every department. Even the internal components are now made by 'known' manufacturers as opposed to being made in a shed somewhere in China, and they have 2 processors and so are much faster etc. The latest Gen 4 was not even out when those comments were written and I can confirm that the new ones are
nothing like as described there.
This is actually a video I made of mine, and came with a year warranty too (and 2 years at some places) and are available through UK suppliers.

I've had BMW factory Nav for the last 4 years, and I can confirm that these are a million times better in every way. The BMW technolgy is 10 years out of date, and even my factory Nav used to constantly go tits up
If you search for Dynavin reviews, you'll find even worse ones, especially since they are £700+
For example:

But again, I AFAIK the new Dynavins are greatly improved over the old ones.
