Howdie

Post by surveysteve » Mon Jan 23, 2012 6:04 pm

Hi folks. Just traded in a 330 Ci that I owned for a huge time of 2 months !! For a 53 plate Carbon Black 4.6 iS Sport.
Picking it up on thursday and I'm looking forward to the drive from Doncaster back up to Aberdeen :)

Here's one of the pics I have of the X5

Comments welcome.

Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome folks. I'm like a wee kid before Christmas to be honest. Thursday can't come soon enough.
I do think that I'll be quite friendly with the filling stations over the next couple of weeks, that's until I get used to it.
If that's possible.....

Hi there. No, it was very nice. Just not big enough or practical for the impending wee arrival due in may.
I had an audi S8 that started to develop gearbox troubles, so sold that and needed something to fill the void. I know one of the mechanics that works at John Clark BMW Aberdeen and he was selling his 330. Was too good a deal to miss out on.
To be honest, I just wish I had bought a small run about to tide me over till I found the X5, could've perhaps got a better deal in the end.
Hey ho.

Have quite a few pics from the seller that I can post up. May just wait till later in the week though ;-)

Cheers.

Hi and welcme.

Given the weather reports today you may be very glad of the 4x4 rather than the 330.. :D

Our E46 330Cd loves 'swapping ends' in even mildly slippy conditions. Evil beast!

Oh and congrats on the imminent arrival too.

Thanks and Hi.
I'm not too bad with the weather as I've been running about in a 1998 1.4 Polo cl. Thats been taking the brunt of the miles these last few months, so I've hardly used the 330. Shame in a way, it drives very well. Just not the best car to 'make use of' at this time of year ;)

Must admit, looking forward to the heated seats again :D
