hi I have had both i'm not sure if there is much differance between the 2. I can still fit the same in both. Maybe worth seeing if you can find someone on line about how many liters both boot hold. HTH

Have not put the dog (Rotti) in my e70 yet, its still too new
As said about 70ltrs more, in real life it feels just a tad bigger (if not the same as e53) when your not fully loading it up.

Boot is definitely a bit bigger.....whole car is bigger! Has to be able to take a 3rd row of seats. Definitely noticed the extra space in the boot for the dogs......positively palatial for them now

E70 also has large storage space under the boot - if you don't go for the third row or use it for a spare wheel. Don't know how this compares to the E53?

No space at all under the boot in the e53.....is full of spare wheel, compressors and electronics

If you cut them into pieces they are easier to move and you could probably fill the space better and get more in

True, you could probably get an arm in the rear armrest and I reckon the head would fit alright under the boot floor where the spare wheel should be

Or in your case, divorce the previous wife rather than murder them?
