Joining the X5 fold

Casual surfing sesh looking at X5s. Got my online broker quote, took it into my local BMW dealer and within 30 minutes had signed the order form. Not only did they match the discounted price, they also gave me 5k more than I had been quoted for the p'ex, allowing me to up the spec even more against my budget whilst still retaining use of the Q7 until March/April.

Almost my perfect car minus the colour and no mention of Heated Steering Wheel.

Nope, keeping the X6, this is a pressie for the missus.

Thanks for the reminder. I have emailed dealer to see if heated steering wheel can be added :-)

Nothing I can do about the colour - we live in Cheshire after all LOL

I'm not letting mine read this thread........she might get some ideas. I'll just remind her that she had an X5, but used too hot a wash so now it's a Mini. Somehow I'm not sure she'll be that easily convinced.... :cry:

It usually starts with something like......."If you loved me........etc etc!". And when those conversations start, I just know I'm in trouble and about to become poorer again..... :(

Can you not ask the dealer to retro-fit? Depending on how bad you want it, you should have some persuasion as buyer???

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean - her Mini was the most expensive of the type that the Dealer has sold to date AND the X5 went as well :cry:
