Might need to change the eject box as well. What snap in adaptor have you got? Mine is for iPhone 3GS so will be a straight swap.

Not sure about the 4S, but that part number is listed as being OK in Realoem against the E53 for the 4, so I guess it may well be fine.

You will need the right eject box too. Parts listed here....

Stew the other internal tray parts need changing then it fits i believe.

I bought an active Brodit set up for my 3 & 4S if it helps as in the tray you cant see the phone.

The seller is where my Son works if i can ever be of help.

Hi Paul
I have got an active Brodit holder, that I had in my 330, but don't really want to drill the dash
I thought this might be a simple swap but will now probably stick with the Brodit

Get the "no holes" bracket that clips onto the console, perfect location and no drilling etc. I had one in M3 then bought new one for x5.

The no holes bracket will be ideal. I used one in my e39. Just removed the radio unit screwed the no holes bracket into the existing hole behind the radio, then refitted the radio. You then screw the Brodit onto the bracket.

Brodit do both a grill mount and the column mount, in this instance the column mount is best as behind the trim a power feed is easy to get at.
