3.0i remap

I'm new to this forum having only bought a 2004 3.0i Sport about a month ago.

I just wanted to put a post up about a remap job i had done by Jason of BW chip tune.

The main reason for the remap was to smooth out the transmission and improve the throttle response as the gearbox seemed pretty unresponsive to me. You would put your foot down and there would be a big lag before anything happened.

The result was a big improvement. The throttle response is massively improved. Overall the economy seems to have not been affected (this wasnt really a concern of mine in the first place though and i let jason know before he did the remap).
There is still a lag from stationary starts but i think this has also been improved slightly by the remap.

Overall i would recommend BW chip tune to remap your 3.0i if you have the same issues i did with the transmission. Great value and a very knowlegable guy
