Some will know i had a wee bump in the car so it was away at the bodyshop for a few days. It was doubtless shunted around in that time and when i went to collect it, it needed a jump. Eight miles to home, a quick stop off at the local supermarket for provisions, (beers tbh

OK i thought, it's probably new battery time so a Bosch S5 found it's way to me on Thursday and i just fitted it.
What has now pee'd me off is, i see on the original BMW battery there is a condition status window and its green, fully charged a ready to roll.

) so it's in the garage for now. I didn't notice any date labels but it could easily be original looking at it which would make it ten years or so, but i suspect there has been one change in that time frame.
