Hi guys,

Sorry seem to be posting quite a few things on here at the moment! Anyway with the wife out, and our daughter in nursery I managed to spend a few hours on the car.... only really managed the outside.

Wash using Zymol car shampoo - which im not great fan of as it never seems to bubble up very much... then dry the car before next stage. Was going to clay it, but not too many contaminates on the paint - apart from tar on the lower parts of the car - which I am going to tackle another day
Polished using some zymol polish I had knocking around
Wax - Using Natties Paste Wax, then a coat of Collinite
Finished off by using some Megs Last Touch.

Any ideas whats best to use on the black bits on the doors? as its like a mirrored finish... and mines looking a little faded?

Heres the results...

Thanks all :) think I got a cold from being out all day cleaning it but worth while :)

Hopefully if it's dry next week I hope to put another layer of collinite on it! :)

That looks really nice bud, out of interest what model is it and is it fitted with a factory bodykit?? The lines look lovely on it, not really looked at X3's as been looking at X5's but dipped in herr and seen a couple of lovely ones, could well be a cheaper running prospect for me but would have to be the right one.

Cheers

Si

It's a 2.0d m sport, with the aero body kit, which was fitted at the factory... It's got leather seats.. And the tinted windows. We had an x3 3.0d before which was great but drank too much diesel, and didn't have body coloured bumpers...
