Hi, having finally got the X5 back, I've began to look at it more closely and have just realised the tyres are Atturo AZ800 275/40ZR 20 on the front, and 315/35ZR 20's on the back. Just googled them in the UK and the 315's are only £118 inc VAT! The wife hasn't complained about lack of stopping/handling, though w'eve never had it for more than a couple of days at a time for the last few months.
Anyone else used or use's these?

Re: Atturo Tyres?
I know what you mean! I remember when Toyo first hit these shores, and people where avoiding them, as they'd never heard of them, now look, Toyo is a well known brand now. I did a search on the US outpost forum, and they've been having a discussion on there about these also. Guy who rode on them said apart from a bit more noise, he didn't notice any difference. I drove a 60 mile trip today in damp/dry conditions, and never thought about lack of traction/stoping/handling. I'm going to Kent tomorrow, so I'll if there's anything to report on I'll let you know.

I wonder what BMW's rules are when selling BMW AUC when it comes to the rubber on a vehicle?

Re: Atturo Tyres?
i have delinte dl6000 on the rear of myn 315/35/20 they were michellins that came off mine were £100 per side fitted!! i can tell any difference exept maybe a little more noise! i keep telling people on here try them you might like them! your the opposite you have budgets on and would not have noticed without looking. If toy can live with budgets your saving in the region of £400-£900 evertime you need tyres!

Re: Atturo Tyres?
Well after driving to Kent and back, and in heavy rain, I had no issues at all. I pushed her in corners, in and out of, accelerated hard from a standstill in the wet, and she never skipped a beat. Obviously, I haven't had other leading brand tyres to test it against, but also I cannot find an issues to fault against these tyres. There will always be a for and against, and I've always had good branded tyres, but at the moment, I'm mighty impressed to say the least...
Re: Atturo Tyres?
i think having 4wd helps! i have to admit i put good quality tyres on the rear of my m3 when i had that as there was only the tyre between me and death from a tree, but i drive my x5 pretty keenly (not as keen as the m3 im a little older now) with no issues
