.......pics here of it lapping the 'ring

I ordered it in June and hope for it to be here 2nd half of next year

I have ordered matching interior car covers from HalFrauds

Still waiting to hear which dirty big V8 it will have, either current 4.2 444BHP RS5 engine or new 4.0V8 twin turbo which will give it more tuning potential.

Looks like they have toned down the DRL LEDs in the facelift too thankfully !

Good choice on the paint job!

The newer Audi's all seem to have the LED individual lights being replaced by the one-piece unit, smoother line (and less in your face as you say).

Should be good - how long's the wait?

So far away a bit difficult to get too excited!

The X will be the longest I've ever owned a car!

Once colour/spec etc are confirmed I'll start to get excited I think

Only available in Auto boxes in the UK, but manual in the US. Weird.

Really like the cars, but would prefer a manual though.

Huh? Are you getting confused with the M5?
Last rs4 was manual only
This will be dsg which is better than both

I was reading about the RS4, and they said (Evo) that it would only be available in auto box in the UK

But why have a manual in the US and not in Europe? Would have thought it would be the other way around.

I really like the cars, but for a sport car I prefer a pure manual box like the Porsche 991 has (7 speed manual). I know that the DSG is quicker than the manual, but I feel you lose the driving experience and it is "just" really an auto box.

Where do you keep getting manual in US?

Agree on real sports car like a 911 (and lotus) but this is everyday car which will go in to central London etc

Driving the GTRs on track is great fun with that box - means you can concentrate on everything else!!

It was saying - "Manual option available in the US, but this will not be available in Europe".

It is like driving the Abarth, fun to some extend but not as involved as a real manual. Obviously as you will be using it as a commuting car you have different requirements, but I was just looking at it from a sports point of view.

I agree London driving with a manual can be very tedious. I wouldnt own a manual if I drove there often.

VW/Audi DSG boxes highly regarded & well above offerings from competitors.

I didnt know Audi were relaunching the original 100 Avant btw ;)
