Has anyone done a golf tee mod?

Post by Giles90 » Thu Nov 10, 2011 4:18 pm

Seems to be something our friends across the Atlantic are keen on, but can it be done with an e53?
Slightly more low end rumble, for free with apparently no negative consequences sounds pretty good to me!
2004 X5 4.4...to do - nothing! wheels refurbed, amplifier fixed, full MOT, living the dream!
E39 5er various AC Schnitzer mods - gone but not forgotten

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this just keeps a valve open in the exhaust. So first you need to have this valve fitted, not sure if the E53 Evan as one, and if it does don't no what model.

My bros 335i on a 2006 plate did, just made I slight differance in noise.

I did this mod on my old 328ci.

Tbh, I don't think the X5 uses the butterfly valve.

If you want more low down torque you would be better off remapping the engine ecu
