What's the most you you put in

Post by scooby1doo1 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 7:41 am

I'm abit bored so thought I'd start a boring thread.

What's the most you have put in your E53 in one week, mines is £223.
Low light came on at 42 remain filled up £112 last Wednesday, longest distance in one hit was 68miles that's one way.
Very bussy few days driving all over the place, none was work driving but it's only 13miles one way anyway. Filling up with 41 miles remaining on Monday 4 days later cost was £111- 5p off a litre from tesco saved me £4.15.

On a side note I did not drive the car more than 10miles from sat through to monday. So all the miles was done from Wednesday to Friday

I suppose the 1st question would be how much is left in your tank now though? If you've only used £10 worth from Monday (when you filled) to today then you've actually only put in and used £122 for example.

But I know where you're going with this, so sorry in advance for sounding a bit.....

(it's only due to me feeling a bit stiff after falling off a ladder from about 7ft.....ouch).

Anyway to answer your question, in 1 week the most I've actually used is £270ish from memory. That was at the beginning of the year when I drove down to BM Autosport to pick up the AC Schnitzers off Mark. And then had a manic week also. That was starting with a full tank and then filling up as required over the week and starting the following week with a full tank again. 2 and a half full tanks of fuel...damn.

Filled up again on Thursday so went out of the 7 day week, that was a one off. Could never do that on a weekly basis, but it was all done doing shortish routes no long runs. Went to my bros 3 times that Wednesday 24miles one way. Max trip was on the Friday been 68miles.

£270 wow now thats not bad.

My max was 4 full tanks in the Scoob about £240ish did long runs that week one been just over 600miles in one day plus my normal weekly drivin of around 230ish miles

I could never keep up that sort of fuel consumption on a weekly basis.

These are thirsty motors.

Not the point of the thread though mate, sure any body that wants to go Germany will rack up the same miles in the same time.

Agreed. If I included Ring trip weekends then I would easily get through serious quantities of fuel in one days travel.
