Back in! Finally

So I Finally tracked the forum down again. I did briefly earlier this year, but couldn't get in and then had trouble finding it again.

It is great to be back and seeing decent banter and advice flowing. I have bought an old P38 Range Rover to play around in (Sold the war departments Zafira instead. The X had to stay) and joined a Landrover forum too, for WHEN it goes wrong. It is a rude and pretty unfriendly place, so it has become a read for advice forum only for me.

so, 35k miles later, I still have the X and like it more than ever. I had it chipped about 18 months ago, other than that, it has been tyres, fuel and a bit of servicing.

I can tell it has been a while as there are a couple of bings and beeps when I start up, which I would have no doubt been shamed into fixing if I was visiting the forum regularly. SWIMBO now uses it more when I am in the trundle bus, so the nagging about the noises has now taken over from the warning beeps themselves.

So two questions:

1. What is the correct code for a replacement bulb for the angel eyes? (Halfords lighting department fitment charts give you the wrong one.)

2. I need a new front left parking sensor. What is the cheapest and best place to find one?

ok, so I found the parts in the end. I will post part number when I'm back in blighty, but can safely say it is one of the more expensive bulbs I've found for such a small one.

It is actually the whole unit as one, rather than just a bulb. about £22.

Parking sensor was about £60 and I treated the old girl to a couple of bottles of genuine washer fluid for good measure.

For £22, you could have had my spare angel eye bulb as I replaced mine with LEDs :)
