From memory it's about 6.5 litres

Nearly - 7.3 litres.
I have seen this before, it always sells for less than the one that has 'Edge' written on it. What's the difference???

Edge is the one recommended for for X5s (certainly the diesel ones anyway).
I thought magnatec was semi synthetic (and Edge was full synth) although that's not what it says on the Halfords website.

I'll always go for the 'Edge' - £20 for the sake of my peace-of-mind! Small price to pay...
