Lidl Battery Charger

On back of discussion on another thread I had a look for & saw this charger
today when popping into Lidl (to get some up to -60 degree C screenwash)

Claimed as same output as my Ctek 3600 @ 3.8Amps.

Connectors and function l.e.d.'s look very similar to those on my Ctek.

Not bought or tried one myself .

There are meatier units out there but for the money this may be well worth a punt.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago to charge a leisure battery, and it works fine. The battery went totally flat last year and I used the charger to bring it back to full charge, and it did the job.

I remember on another site somewhere a comment that the Lidl ones are made by CTEK - a guy with a garage had pulled one apart and compared internals.
A few years ago they looked identical apart from badging. However apparently they then realised that they needed to make the Lidl contract one look a bit cheaper for the punters so altered the casing.

I sent my wife in to get one yesterday, but they had run out. Don't think it was a shopping experience she was loving

Want to use a cheap one on the tractor.
