Hallelujah!

I'm really pleased because after a bit of a trek I've finally found myself an X5! So after scouring the internet for an age to find the right car, I've finally stopped dilly dallying and taken the plunge! I took the advice that AW8 gave me some time ago to sell privately and then buy privately and feel that I've ended up with a much better specced car than I would've got via a trader, so I'm a very happy chap
Massive thanks to Petert (who's a lovely & helpful chap) who took the time to go through everything on the car etc. and I look forward to collecting the vehicle and uploading some pictures and info for the new forum!

Yes that's right - good to keep it within the forum
I've not picked up the X5 yet as it is having a replacement wing mirror fitted very soon - but I'm due to go away early hours of Saturday so might have to wait until after the holiday to collect
At least it'll be exciting to come back to though.
I'll be waving my trusty Type R off tonight which I feel genuinely
about! Sad I know but I'll really miss it.

I think it natural to miss old cars, as i do with a few of mine, but on wards and up wards

Sometimes I wonder if it was actually the car I miss or whether it is the memories and experiences I had in the car...
