There are loads of posts and how-tos on parking sensors - just do a search. They are a PITA to change and some need the bumper dropping in order to do it - the corners are different to the others as they are on an angle - check on Real OEM. And if one stops working the whole system gives up as they are in serial. The worst ever feature of the X5, imo and the one that causes the most annoyance - why a set of £50 ebay sensors can work reliably for years installed in any car and BMW couldn't get this right on a car that cost up to £70K new, is amazing.
There are often ebay listings for the sensors. Just make sure you get the correct ones from a reputable source as lots of ebay stuff can be duff.

will try a search i have 3 ossilliating (spelling not good) error and one saying broken wiring although its fine and the sensor as if you move it all of a sudden other wires instantly become faulty, ebay stuff like that abit hmmmmmm you could be buying some one elses crap however i seem to think they are about £80 each from bmw which make them awfully steep considering you dont comprimise anything by not having them.
