Lucky Cop

Annoying that after all that, the guy was only sentenced to 23 months!

10/10 to the officer for bravery, courage & resilience..........To get back to feet, foot pursue & Taser the offender really is commendable stuff

1st time I've seen an occupied Police car offered side on to a car failing to stop to stop at speed.....Events can take a sudden change, thus in absence of knowing full facts it's probably best not to speculate or deliberate further.

Some could feel that the offender could have deliberately caused far more damage &/or injury if intent on doing so. Not playing down the offenders terrible & dangerous actions here but there have been far worse end results in other fail to stop situations.

One thing for sure - the Officer was definitely lucky that day.

Thanks for sharing :)

It looked like there was enough space to miss the police car altogether though? That island looked low enough to cross (and certainly less painful then hitting a car).
