A sad day today, the trusty X5 is being changed for a 5 series, mostly due to the bonkers petrol prices we have to put up with.....
As a result I have removed the Witter Towbar I fitted to it last August. This bar has been used approx a dozen times over this year and is in excellent condition. It comes c/w plug and play electrical connection (easy, just plugs in the socket located in the boot)
For Sale: Witter detachable Towbar plus all bolts, spacers, covers and fixings. Also includes Plug and play 13pin towing plug. I have just removed this from my 2001 X5, so having fitted and removed it recently I would describe fitting as straightforward for the average DIY spanner man. Comprehensive Instructions are available on the net to assist in the installation if required.

It is a heavy piece of kit so I guess postage would be around £20, pick up in South Wales for free....
