Hi Folks

Found the link on xoutpost.com. I currently drive a 2009 X6 3.5d, but have ordered it's replacement which is due in November - X6M Carbon Black :D

I also race my e46 M3 racecar in the CSL Cup, and at the Nurburgring in Germany (for anyone who is interested). Below is a video from my race at Brands Hatch last weekend.

Which vid was it Chompers? The really fast one in the e90 GTR was driven by ex touring car driver Michael Funke - there is one of me in my old CSL which isn't anywhere near as fast!! :D

Hi Steve

Name rings a bell but maybe for too many reasons.

You are on BMWLand right?

Did the CSL used to be wrapped in River Island Colours or something?

Good to see Walshy's advert on the side

I drove the X6M up the goodwood hill recently and loved it - what a great sound it makes. A very nice car and look forward to seeing pics of it.
You might as well post some pics up of the boring oil chugger while you are waiting for the new one

Welcome aboard

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the forum - will be nice to see an X6 or two on here. Do you have any photos you can share?

Look forward to the X6M too! Bet you are too! Hope the wait isn't as long as Minda's!

Not at Thruxton, as I'm doing my first race at the ring a week on Saturday, sharing the drive with Michael Funke (who won both of the last 2 CSL Cup races). 1.5 hours non stop, with 200 other cars on track, should be fun :driving:

I get around  I used to have a 535d, was known as SG535d on the 5 series forum, so you maybe knew me from that? I'm on bmwland, although not a frequent poster. My CSL was painted white, the river island CSL you're thinking of was owned by Woppum, but he's sold it now.

You know Walshy? He drove the first race last Sunday, but had to retire due to problems with the fuel pump :(

I'll post pics of the X6 as soon as I've cleaned her - she's pretty dirty right now

LOL it's not all playboy lifestyle; I'm finding I don't have enough time to use the racecar as I'm busy working to pay for it, and the cycle continues LOL

X6M is a treat for myself as I can't bear to get rid of the X6, even though I don't need a 4x4 anymore - I love it too much - awesome car. Tows like a train and drives brilliantly - I even had her on track up at Knockhill a few weeks ago (a charity trackday raising money for cancer research), it was pouring wet and I overtook 3/4 of the cars on track

Ah ha - SG535d I remember !

I remember seeing Woppum's car on a track day somewhere.

You don't own a Lotus and not know Andy ! Did an activity day with him a couple of years ago and sat with him in the pub for lunch. He comes from close to where my mum comes from back in Wales. Top Fella.

Get your bucket out then fella !
