This possibly explains the recent discrepancy with the pricing on my cars front springs replacement.

Main dealer pricing for a pair was much the same as one spring from the indy i had started to use? He couldnt fathom why. That said, if Stratstone BMW applied this deal, they made no mention of this 40% discount. You'd think they would have. But that also means the £700+ i was charged might have been a four figure job..... for two springs 😲

It could still have been beneficial with a BMW warranty on the parts and labour. The work is history now, so somewhat irrelevant.

Apparently, items such as springs don't fall within the scope of BMWs discount deal. That's as advised by Stratstone BMW.

It begs the question, what does, and what doesn't 🤔

And the question over the pricing query remains. Having asked the question, Stratstone simply tell me, i was looked after with my invoice.
