72p from BMW against the eBay part. Always worth checking.
I’m also told that the local dealer has been told to get rid of old stock worth over 80k which they are going to sell on eBay or if your lucky enough to need something on the list you’ll get it for a song.

I’d agree. I’ve seen some absolute horrors on the Bay in the past.

I guess cars that are now past the end-of-life by a certain amount of time means dealers getting rid of parts becomes needed. Might be some bargains to be had….

The parts man did say they got rid of a £300 bumper for £30. So yes, bargains to be had. He said if he possibly can he’ll get me a list when I pick up the bits tomorrow.

Price of genuine clips on the bay is mad at times for sure but my dealer is 35 mile away so its a pain to go there on single carriageway road at 35 mph usually :headbang:

Mine is about 1 mile but if I’m spending over £50 I can get it cheaper and posted to me from Cotswold BMW. Simply because they give a discount if you’re in a car club or online forum. They also answer the phone which tends to be a bit of a bonus.

Answering the phone? my local dealership are particularly poor at that.

I've not needed to order parts in some while now, but Cotswold BMW have given sterling service when I've needed them.

The scuttle trim most recently broken by 'my lot' had to be ordered, not surprising really, but no phone call to ask me in yet from Friday

Well, I got the list of parts, about 100 pages. The problem is it just gives a p/n and doesn’t name the part so you need to trawl through the p/n to see what the item is. I’ve done about 40 and I’m bored can’t see myself doing very many more.

100 pages of part numbers sounds like a lot of stock to shift :o

You could try it from the other end. If there’s something you would like and it’s on Realoem then cross ref from there to the 100-page book.
