Hi guys, has anyone tried to install a digital instrument cluster on the X5 E53, different than the ID4Motion one? I found something on alibaba, that claims to be compatible with the e53, but the other compatible cars are all F series, so I doubt it actually works on the E53.

I looked that up and there is one listed for the e53 but at almost £800 seems a tad expensive.and that’ll for the basic model. If I had that sort of money to throw at my 23 yo car I’m sure I could think of something to try and make it last a bit longer. But everyone to their own taste. To answer your question though yes there is one listed specifically for the e53 on Ali and it says plug and play.
