35d exhaust

Post by CharlieEdwin » Sun Sep 01, 2024 9:23 pm

Hi everyone, I'm new here to the forum.
I've just recently got myself a 2009 X5 35d, I've been offered an exhaust which was previously fitted to a 3.0sd.
Does anyone know if it will fit on the 35d?
I know both models are twin turbo m57, so I feel like it should but just wanting to double check?
TIA

Rebadged to keep with newer model lineup I guess at the dealers as the spec didn't change ,I suppose as far as bmw were concerned the sd no longer existed as a new car after a certain date ..

30sd was replaced by the 35d which then became the 40d in 2010 (with N-series engine and different turbo set-up.

If the part numbers match then it’ll fit.
