2010 E70 X5 3.0d - 4BDA Low Pressure Fuel Control

Hi

Got the following error code tonight:

4BDA

Engine stalled after switch on and engagement of reverse gear.

Any ideas?

Fuel Filter / Low pressure pump / Relay?

When did it last have a new fuel filter?.
I would start with the easy one fuel filter and see.

Update on this one, it turned out to be a failing injector.

Engine just cut out and wouldn't hold revs.

Replaced injector and no more faults.

Glad you got it sorted out.
When i had 2 failing injectors the problem i got was starting it when hot.
Mine was the 3.0d m57 engine.
