I am looking for a new battery for 2004 BMW X5 4.4I 5-Speed. What is the best option of a maintenance-free lithium battery for my car, the more power the better.

You need to check whether lithium is appropriate as the charging characteristics are different and the E53 doesn’t have a battery management system such as was fitted to the E70 and later models.
The OEM battery is (or should be) an AGM type.
I’ve used both Exide and Yuasa on my BMWs with good results. A good supplier is Tayna Batteries as used by members on here.

Have a look at Tayna batteries.
Put your reg number in then you can see what options and type.
Best prices i think as well and next day delivery well every time i have had that.

A couple of my friends have also recommended Tayna and this is my first option at the moment. Thanks
