Hi just joined thanks for havin me

Is it just me or does anyone else find it really difficult and frustrating when trying to insert the seat belt clip into the stalk holder that it’s so low down next to the centre consul?
It almost as low as the Seat itself!!
Is there anybody else or just me and if so what can I do about it.
Neil

Not a situation i am afflicted with tbh. Does your car have sports or comfort seats. The latter are a bit wider i think 🤔

Only one type fitted so the answer is probably no.

The socket is also connected to the Safety Restrain System so can’t be swapped for one with a longer stalk from what I can see.

Thanks I’ve tried the smaller buckler only ones but they don’t really feel secure and I’m doubtful that they would stay in place when needed if the worst happens
The longer ones look good I might invest in a pair to see.
I’m a bit worried about them being tested and approved in the UK ref insurance.

Here's what you can do:
First, try adjusting your seat position. Sometimes moving it up a bit can make it easier to reach. If that doesn't help, you can grab a seat belt extender from Amazon or a car accessory store. It's basically a little piece that makes the clip sit higher, so you're not fishing around every time you need to buckle up.

Also, don't be shy about customizing your ride a bit. Some folks have even attached a little loop or handle to the belt itself, giving you something easier to grab.
