You can easily set your device to Dark Mode. Everything here and elsewhere will then be white on a black ground.

It depends…..not all devices will recognise dark mode or default to it if not supported. My iDevices are all in DM but this (and most other websites) don’t use it so are in ‘normal’ mode. For me I think that Safari browser is the issue

Oh. FWIW my Samsung device offers Dark Mode from the top drop down menu

I’ve checked with Sp3ctre and the forum theme doesn’t support Dark Mode natively, most don’t without significant recoding. Depending upon the platform you are using though, there are add-ins for browsers that convert ‘normal’ to DM. I use one called Dark Reader for use with Edge. Firefox has one as well. There are probably similar ones across other browsers.
