Roof bars

Post by Wayfarer » Wed Jun 14, 2023 8:42 pm

Would anyone happen to know the best place to get hold of or download a set of the fitting instructions for the f15 bmw roof bars that I bought from a member on here a couple of years ago, as I appear to have mislaid them.
The most important bit is the positioning of the bars on the car, distances from front windscreen and spacing between bars, the rest I can hopefully work out.

Thanks

Thanks
Might be worth a try but haven’t found them much use before, although that was technical about approved star marked tyres , I’ll give them a call this morning.

There’s a few videos on YouTube, but not sure which are the right ones for F15 or UK Spec (that shouldn’t make a difference!).

Spoke with dealership whilst ordering a new top box and he has kindly emailed me the info, so all sorted, dimensions are 460mm from front screen and 700mm between bars.

Thanks for the info and replies

The 700mm rings a bell as that’s what my Thule ‘Wingbars’ need to be set to on the X6. I’ll have to measure how far back 430mm is just to see how close I guessed where to put the front one.

Glad that you have a customer oriented dealer
