PS Slim as a media centre - Question.

Post by spidey » Wed May 04, 2011 4:28 pm

Hi Guys

I've read this how-to with interest and was wondering if the same results could be achieved with a network media player such as the product listed in the link below?

System Requirements

1. Portable hard drive or other USB storage device with supported video or audio content stored on it.
2. Standard or high definition television with HDMI or composite video connections

I have one of these installed in the rear above the DVD sat nav drive.

I had the 120gb hard drive fitted and the remote eye installed in the front ash tray so i can control it with the remote. It plays most video formats.
I am very happy with it and it can be removed easily enough to take into the house and plug into my laptop.
