Hi guys
i have a 2012 20d F25 bought 6 months ago and have a noise that sounds like rear wheel bearing. i have changed the left bearing as sound seemed that side but no difference. about to change right side(when weather lets me).i am not a mechanic but try do all my own repairs to keep costs down and mind active, but wondering can it be the rear diff or prop bearing? i have a e70 x5 that i am about to sell as just spent £3700 on a rear diff on that. had a 6 month warranty from garage but would not honour a wheel bearing as they say wear and tear. and dont want to explain to wife got another car with more expense
any help please st.helens area

Always hard to pinpoint a wheel bearing from inside the car, you need it jacked up and spin them.
The e70 rear diff failure is common now, mine went last year and I've seen a few for sale locally needing a diff.
