Hi all just saying hello I have just got my 2005 X5 3.0d I have been browsing this forum for some time doing research before buying and have found it very helpful I thought I had loads of questions to post but have found most of the answers by searching keep up the good work - Stewart - btw here is a picture of the new motor

Nice car and colour, mine is the same as yours. Not many with the big arches and alloys.
What are your plans, keep it OEM or make a few modifications???

Nice looking car though, very nice actually, despite it being the same colour as Sanj's car.

I will probably keep it pretty standard with a few subtle mods already fitted led angel eye markers so they are now White instead of yellow also want to paint the calipers as thy are rusty going to fit a towbar this weekend as we have a caravan to drag around but apart from that the car is pretty much how I want it
