I’ve noticed a slight knocking in the steering column on my X5. I first thought it was the universal joint but after further inspection it seems to be the bearing where the column goes through the bulkhead. There is a piece of foam there too.
Has anyone any experience of this or how to go about replacing it?
I’ve looked on realoem but the lower part of the shaft diagram has no parts listed below it so I’m unsure of what bit I’m looking for.
