Evening everyone,
Im lucky enough to own a 2011 E71 X6M, previously owned Range Rover Vogue Supercharged until head gasket popped. the X6M is a silver/blue with black interior, along with black weave leather inserts on doors etc. Celtic tuning had been let loose on it by previous owner, so its a bit loopy on Msport+ mode. Im very happy with it so far, ive had full service and gearbox oil done, unfortunately its now got DSC alarm coming up so its off for a scan and hammer.
anyway, ill have a million questions at some point, first one is suspension options instead of air on rear.

Hello and
A rare beast on the Forum indeed. It was a pretty ‘mad’ car even without being breathed on! It’s the only (modern) car I’ve driven where the average mpg was less than 10
Not seen anyone change air to coil on an X6 yet. I deliberately ordered mine without due to my other half being sensitive to motion sickness and air seemed to trigger it (on our E53 at least).

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

like others have said.. Thats a wee beastie even before tinkering but 10mpg is pretty scary.
I was set on buying a V8m as my exit motor but common sense and an ever growing likelihood of living abroad very soon has prevailed.
Might have to find one for sale and have a potter about in it while I can.

Has it still got full bmw warranty? Had the common injector failure last year, and the maindealers dropped part of the injector into the cylinder. Engine out job and quite a few grand to do. Cost me £250
Mine "may" have been remapped , I didi time it to 100 in 9 odd seconds on a private road. Fuel consumption is 18-22 around the doors and maybe 25 on a run
Guess you have already found out it will spin all 4 wheels in the damp
